  • There are no zoning restrictions, ordinances, or building codes within the unincorporated areas of Coffee County, Alabama with the exception of the areas of concern listed below.

    • Coffee County adopted subdivision regulations which are primarily related to streets and drainage.  Information pertaining to this matter may be obtained from the County Engineer's Office at (334) 894-6112.
    • Coffee County has adopted a Flood Damage Prevention Resolution which related to development in a possible flood plain.  Information pertaining to this matter may be obtained from the County EMA Office at (334) 894-5415.
    • City of Enterprise has jurisdictional boundaries that extend past the city limits.  There may be some jurisdictional ordinances that apply.  Therefore, we urge you to please contact them at (334) 347-1211.

  • There are no animal control policies in the unincorporated areas of Coffee County.  However, cages are available for use at Commission Office at 1065 E. McKinnon Street in New Brockton.  Any stray dogs captured should be transported to the Elba Police Department at 304 Simmons Street in Elba.
